Should Portsmouth chase QPR immediately after half-time?

Portsmouth led QPR after 15 minutes and are 2-1 down by 43 in Saturday's Championship match. Ilias Chair equalised on 33 and then supplied Koki Saito on the break on 40, even though QPR had already been forced to replace the injured Boy Kemper. Portsmouth have a decision after half-time: go after the equaliser at once, or spend ten minutes making sure QPR do not get the same break again. https://site.api.espn.com/apis/site/v2/sports/soccer/eng.2/summary?event=401880334

QPR’s third at 45+2 removed the 2-1 choice before the interval. Portsmouth did chase straight away, with five attempts from 49 to 54, but none produced a goal. QPR still had several later efforts from inside the box and it finished 1-3. https://site.api.espn.com/apis/site/v2/sports/soccer/eng.2/summary?event=401880334
