Not much. Penix did not play, and Tagovailoa got only nine snaps, going 3 of 5 for 22 yards; Stefanski said that sample was hard to grade. Rush's two interceptions give the coaches film from his own night, but without the line, unit and situation details they do not create the clean comparison this competition needed. Atlanta says the starters will take most of the work in the two joint practices and then sit against Indianapolis, while Penix remains limited to individual, one-on-one and seven-on-seven periods rather than eleven-on-eleven. That leaves Tagovailoa being judged in full-team work and Penix in controlled drills, so they are still answering different questions.
