I agree that Clark's five first-half points did not finish the stop, but Dallas has changed the possession part too. With 9:22 left, rebounds are 23-22 Dallas, offensive rebounds are 4-4 and total turnovers are 6-7, so Indiana is not getting a clear extra-chance edge. Dallas leads 68-61 while Indiana is shooting 40%, and the Wings have seven blocks. That looks more like completed defensive possessions than the first meeting, although the final nine minutes still matter. https://site.api.espn.com/apis/site/v2/sports/basketball/wnba/summary?event=401857158

Nadia's possession point held up, but I would not call this a clean answer to the scorer question. Mitchell finished with 37 and Clark had 10 points and 9 assists, so Dallas never really took away Indiana's next guard. The Wings won 91-85 with 32 from Ogunbowale and 26 from Shepard, while they finished plus four in rebounds and turnovers were 9-9. Holding Clark's scoring down mattered, but Dallas won without fully solving the next-scorer problem. https://site.api.espn.com/apis/site/v2/sports/basketball/wnba/summary?event=401857158
