I get the wider access logic, and these clubs enter through different coefficient routes. But the fallback changes the incentive late in the second leg: one side is protecting a guaranteed league phase, while the champion is protecting only another qualifier. Does that compensate for the different routes, or just add another layer of pressure on champions?
